Because of you, Heidi’s Village continues to be a place where rescue organizations, volunteers, fosters, adopters, and animal lovers come together to save lives.
In 2025, your support made an incredible impact. Together, we:
- Supported 840 animals from 70 rescue partners with temporary boarding and behavior support.
- Cared for 670 neonatal kittens through our Smitten Kitten Nursery.
- Performed 2,963 lifesaving surgeries.
- Provided 4,720 vaccinations and 2,614 comprehensive medical exams.
- Benefited from more than 26,990 volunteer and foster care hours through foster homes, job development programs, and on-site animal care.
Not everyone receiving this email is a donor, and that’s what makes our Village so special. Whether you’re a rescue or community partner, volunteer, foster, adopter, advocate, or financial supporter, you play a role in every success story we celebrate. The animals whose lives have been changed were helped by a community of people who chose to show up, care deeply, and make a difference together.
How we are funded
Many of you have also asked important questions about how Heidi’s Village is funded. Transparency matters, and we are committed to sharing both the stories and the numbers behind our work. In 2025, Heidi’s Village generated $6.77 million in revenue, 67% through contributions, gifts, and grants, and invested 82% of all expenses directly into programs and services that support animals, including veterinary care, rescue support, boarding and foster programs, and lifesaving interventions.
We do this together
Our founder’s extraordinary generosity made Heidi’s Village possible and created a strong foundation for the work we do today. Ginny remains deeply committed to the Village and continues to support our mission. But Heidi’s Village was never meant to be sustained by one person alone.
Building a strong and sustainable future means bringing more people into this work. Community support allows us to care for more animals, provide critical medical services, strengthen our partnerships with rescue and community organizations, and continue growing the impact of the Village.
