Kitten Yoga + Shower = PAWS-itively Purrfect!
Heidi’s Village recently hosted a magical morning of Kitten Yoga & a Shower, and we’re still smiling from all the cuteness and community love.
A huge thanks to Kate with Paws + Breathe for donating her time and talents to help raise money and supplies for our Smitten Kitten Nursery.
We are grateful for everyone who came out to stretch, cuddle, and shower our kittens with gifts and love.
We will keep you posted on our next kitten yoga event!
Collaboration in Action
In times of heartbreak and uncertainty, it can be overwhelming to know where to turn. A family member reached out to us for help with his father’s two beloved cats—Jack and Jillian. He had exhausted every option and been told no everywhere else.
At Heidi’s Village, we believe in finding a way. With quick teamwork and strong partnerships, we were able to say “yes.” After welcoming Jack and Jillian into our care and getting them the medical attention they needed, we worked alongside our friends at Foothills Animal Rescue, who graciously agreed to help them on the next leg of their journey.
Want to follow along? Visit Foothills Animal Rescue’s website to see what’s next for these two.
Hill’s Food, Shelter & Love Program
We’re proud to be a part of the Hill’s Food, Shelter & Love® Program, a life-changing initiative that has supported shelter animals with science-led nutrition since 2002.
Thanks to Hill’s generous support, the animals at Heidi’s Village enjoy precisely balanced meals every single day—helping them stay healthy, happy, and adoption-ready.
Their commitment means more wagging tails, more purrs, and most importantly, more forever homes.

Meet Our Adoptable Dogs!
CHRISTOPHER
A unique blend of German Shepherd, Boxer, Husky, and Super Mutt—not to mention a certified good boy. Christopher is the perfect mix of playful energy and loyal devotion.
He can be wary of strangers, but once he’s comfortable, his Husky side really shines during playtime—he’s got a lot to say and loves to fill the air with his signature chatter!
GYPSY
Pillow hog extraordinaire—cuddling is my cardio.
Toy snob (Kongs + antlers only, thank you very much).
A ride-or-die road trip buddy, preferably the drive-thru.
Certified good girl. Low-energy lifestyle preferred—unless there’s a squirrel to chase.
People? I’m all in. I bond fast and love hard.
Gypsy is our perfectly sweet pup 💖
RAMBO
Meet Rambo, a sweet and resilient pup who’s come a long way. When he first returned to us, he was scared and shut down, unsure of his surroundings.
But with time, patience, and a lot of love, Rambo has started to come out of his shell and now greets new people with curiosity and enthusiasm. He has a fun, goofy side that’s really starting to emerge, and it’s been such a joy to watch him gain confidence.
Did You Know?
Large dogs often get overlooked in shelters due to their size, space needs, and misconceptions about behavior. But they’re just as loving and loyal—sometimes even more so. Help us give them the second chance they deserve.
