Heidi’s Village services are designed specifically to support the animal welfare community, which is why we partner exclusively with 501(c)(3) organizations. To get started, simply provide a copy of your IRS determination letter. If you’re just getting established, let us know—we’re happy to help you navigate the process!

We know how important it is to keep everyone safe, from your animals to your volunteers. That’s why we ask our Pack Partners to maintain general liability insurance with a trusted carrier (A.M. Best rating of A- or better) and coverage of at least $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate. To keep things simple, please provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that includes a waiver of subrogation in favor of Heidi’s Village and lists us as an additional insured. As part of our commitment to ethical and transparent partnerships, we ask our Rescue Partners to provide up to three of their most recent IRS Form 990 filings. This helps us better understand your organization’s structure and sustainability. If you’re a newly established rescue, don’t worry—we’re happy to discuss alternative documentation options to get you started.

To ensure we’re all on the same page, we’ll provide a simple agreement that outlines the expectations and benefits of our partnership. This helps keep our collaboration strong and ensures we can provide the best possible support to our Rescue Partners and the animals in their care. Our team will walk you through the details and answer any questions before you sign—because we believe great partnerships start with clear communication!
