Naming Opportunities
With an anticipated opening date of May 2020, Heidi’s Village will be providing medical and behavioral intervention for both the public and 501(c)3 animal welfare groups at an affordable rate. A 24-hour neonate kitten nursery will provide critical life care for kittens most at need. Our services will also include temporary boarding for nonprofit breed rescue organizations, subsidized medical intervention for animals whose guardians cannot afford to provide that care, and behavioral intervention for animals who are not currently appropriate for adoption.
We invite you to support the services that Heidi’s Village will be providing for animals in our community through naming opportunities starting at only $125. Put your name on a dog or cat suite or sponsor the entire building. Gift a dog bed in honor of a friend or a loved one. There are many ways in which you can provide support. Whether you sponsor an animal suite and a surgery suite, your generosity will help animals for years to come. This is a great way to permanently honor animals or animal lovers in your life. Contributions can be set up through a one-time gift or through ongoing monthly contributions. Your donation, which is tax-deductible, will support these and other services.
Progress On Site
Since our last update, there has been significant progress at Heidi’s Village construction site (40th Street and Van Buren). Footings, plumbing runs, and electrical conduit runs have been completed in four of our nine buildings. In our live feed, you can make out the “+” shaped outline of several of our dog buildings on either side of the screen and the ”I” shaped outline of our cat buildings in the center. In total, there will be six dog buildings with a total of 264 indoor/outdoor kennels for our canine guests and two cat buildings situated in the center of the grounds.
