We are thrilled to share that, after 586 days at Heidi’s Village, Christopher has found his forever home and is officially adopted! There were plenty of happy tears and big smiles around the Village as we celebrated this special moment. Christopher quickly became a favorite among our team, and while we will miss seeing his sweet face every day, we couldn’t be happier knowing he is exactly where he belongs.

Watching him settle into his new home has already filled our hearts with joy and serves as a wonderful reminder that sometimes the dogs who wait the longest are not being overlooked. They are simply waiting for the perfect match.

Congratulations to Christopher and his amazing family! Thank you for choosing adoption and giving this incredible boy the loving life he has been waiting for. We wish you many happy years together.

12News, ABC15, and Fox10 joined us for Ice Day and captured all the fun as the dogs at Heidi’s Village enjoyed one of our favorite annual traditions.

Despite the Arizona heat, the dogs had an amazing time, reminding us just how important enrichment is while they wait for their forever families. A huge thank you to Reddy Ice for generously donating 100 bags of ice and helping make this special day possible for the third year in a row.

The tail wags, zoomies, and smiles were endless, as you can see in the 12News segment about this unforgettable day!

Our Ice Day story even made waves in Maine, Connecticut, and Los Angeles. After all, everyone loves a happy story, especially when it includes dogs!

Lucas and Pawdry had the best time together during ice day, and now they would love to continue the fun at your home.

Pawdrey Hepburn is an almost 2-year-old Husky mix with a vibrant personality, a love for people, and endless enthusiasm. Friendly, playful, and always ready for fun, she’s sure to keep her future family smiling with her joyful energy and affectionate nature.

Lucas is a friendly and affectionate 3-year-old mixed-breed with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Full of enthusiasm and always ready to make new friends, he’s sure to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of love to his future family.

Lucas and Pawdry can be adopted from Heidi’s Village. Come meet them during our regular business hours:

DJ Lock is officially accepting requests… but his favorite song would be “I’m Going Home.”

This almost 2-year-old tabby has the moves, the personality, and plenty to say. Whether he’s dropping beats on the window, showing off his adorable meerkat stance, or asking for a few extra pets, Lock knows how to keep everyone entertained.

Behind all those dance moves is a sweet, affectionate boy who’s ready to trade the DJ booth for a cozy couch and a family to call his own.
