At Heidi’s Village, we believe real change in animal welfare happens through collaboration. By uniting rescue groups, veterinarians, community organizations, and passionate individuals, we create innovative solutions for pets in need. Together, we expand resources, share knowledge, and strengthen the community that cares for them.

Community

Heidi’s Village is not just a resource for rescues—we are deeply committed to supporting and engaging with our community in meaningful ways. In 2024, we partnered with One Love Arizona to bring spay/neuter clinics to underserved pet owners. We also joined forces with The Arizona Pet Project to provide lifesaving services for the pets of vulnerable populations, including veterans and housing-insecure individuals. In 2025, we will collaborate with IncrediBullStella to integrate our respective educational programs, expanding outreach to teach children about rescue, spay/neuter, and careers in animal welfare. We are always looking for new ways to bring the community together and create lasting change for pets and the people who love them.

Paws for Redemption

Paws for Redemption is a dog training and rehabilitation program that supports second chances for both people and pups. Expanding to Arizona in spring 2025, the program partnered with One Love Arizona, local shelters, and Heidi’s Village to pair incarcerated individuals with shelter dogs in need of homes. Dogs were carefully selected and supported before entering the inmate training program, where they received daily care and structured training to prepare them for adoption. Through this work, dogs gained confidence and essential skills, while participants developed responsibility, patience, and accountability, creating meaningful outcomes for both.

Volunteer Partners

Heidi’s Village is proud to partner with organizations that provide meaningful opportunities for individuals on their path to recovery, rehabilitation, or leadership. Volunteers from these programs assist with essential tasks like cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, and animal enrichment—support that is invaluable to our mission. These partnerships not only help Heidi’s Village operate smoothly but also allow us to give back by offering purposeful activities that foster skill-building, confidence, and community engagement. Hill's Pet Nutrition

We’re proud to be a part of the Hill’s Food, Shelter & Love® Program, a life-changing initiative that has supported shelter animals with science-led nutrition since 2002. Thanks to Hill’s generous support, the animals at Heidi’s Village enjoy precisely balanced meals every single day—helping them stay healthy, happy, and adoption-ready. PACC911

Heidi’s Village is proud to partner with PACC911 to create a seamless bridge between rescue and adoption. PACC911 provides critical financial support for medical needs and works tirelessly to plan and host adoption events on behalf of rescues, while Heidi’s Village offers accessible temporary boarding and top-notch medical services. Together, this collaboration ensures rescues have the support they need to save lives and connect animals with their forever homes.

Kitten College Satellite Campus

Heidi’s Village proudly collaborates with The Kitten College to enhance our ability to save neonate kittens in our community. Through their expert training and support, we’ve strengthened our own specialized care program, giving fragile, orphaned kittens the best chance at survival. By implementing best practices learned from The Kitten College, we can provide critical care, expand our impact, and help more vulnerable kittens thrive on their journey to adoption.
