Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
How Does the Adoption Work?
You can view any of our adoptable animals below or you can visit our adoption center at Heidi’s Village. After you have met the cat or dog of your choice, you will spend time with one of our specially trained staff. Our staff will be able to answer questions about the cat or dog’s behavior, lifestyle needs, medical needs and other important information. After you have decided on your new cat or dog, we will help you complete all the forms and answer any last questions that you may have.
Heidi’s Village adoptions are on a first come, first served basis.
Adopting from Heidi’s Village does not require an appointment.
Find Your Next Pet
Looking for more adoptable pets?
Heidi’s Village is not a high-volume adoption program but rather a program designed to provide services and boarding to other animal welfare organizations, known as our rescue partners. Our facility houses hundreds of animals, many of which are looking for homes. If you don’t find what you’re looking for at Heidi’s Village, we encourage you to browse our directory of rescue partners and their adoptable pets. Please note that these rescues will have requirements and fees that differ from Heidi’s Village.
Our Adoption Fees:
Kittens (8 weeks – 7 months): starting at $145
Adult cats (7 months – 8 years): starting at $75
Senior Cats (8 years+): $35
Puppies (8 weeks – 7 months): starting at $450
Dogs (7 months – 8 years): starting at $200
Senior Dogs (8 years+): starting at $100
Our Adoption Fee includes the following:
Spay or Neuter surgery
This means you do not have to worry about your dog/cat accidentally getting pregnant or causing a pregnancy.
Vaccinations
Boosters might still be needed depending on how old your new dog or cat is at the time of adoption.
Microchipped
Microchipping is one of the most effective ways of getting to be reunited if your pet becomes lost. Think of the microchip as your social security number, no other dog or cat has the same microchip number.
Copy of all medical records from Heidi’s Village
We want to make life a little easier for your family veterinarian, so we make sure that you are provided with a copy of all your new pet’s medical records to give to your veterinarian.
Impact of Adoption:
Our adoptable animals were surrendered to us for a variety of different reasons, from helping a struggling kitten found on the street to giving up a cherished pet as a result of financial loss or displacement. By adopting an animal from Heidi’s Village, you are giving a vulnerable creature a second chance. By paying a low-cost fee to adopt an animal, you contribute not only to your new family friend’s wellbeing, but also to the care and wellbeing of other animals in our facility looking for their forever homes.
